Dino mumbled bitterly to himself, carrying a clipboard in one hand as he walked down a hallway of LD4. With Cox "consulting", Dino was finding himself unable to do what he liked to do most at work...nothing. Cox assigned him to interview someone who wanted to work for LD4, if that wasn't mundane enough. He didn't even bother to read the papers on the board. "If he didn't have good toe..." Astor turned the corner of the hallway in front of Dino. Dino grinned in his best figurehead way. Astor spun on a thick heel and tried to dodge around the corner. "I don't care what it is, I'm not doing it!" Dino grabbed onto Astor's retreating tailtip and skidded along behind him. "It's just one interview, ThunderT0z. Hey, who's the boss here anyways?" Astor stopped and turned around, pulling his tail free. "Jenn." Dino puckered as he popped his arms back into their sockets. "But we all know who's the MAN of this place." "Cox." Dino puckered so much he formed a singularity and vanished, but not before throwing the clipboard at the apatosaur and saying "Just do it!" Astor slumped his shoulders and neck, not so much out of submission, but just to fit under the doorframe as he headed off. "This is cutting into my nothing-time. I don't get paid enough f... Hey! I don't get paid at ALL." He grunted, but swallowed it down and stepped in to the waiting room. Sitting quietly on a bench against a wall was a diminutive five-foot anthro draconian, sitting with his taloned hands resting on his knees. His wings were spread slightly behind him, the gray-green sails mixing well with his silvery scales. Like most draconids with fully internal genitalia, he wore no clothing. His spaded tailtip fanned and curled slightly on the floor near his clawed feet as he turned to look at the dinosaur. Astor lumbered over and sat down on a bench opposite the draconian and smiled down at him. "Hi. You're here for the..." Astor furrowed his brow and looked at the clipboard for the first time. "Assistant consultant position." The draconian chrrred and mantled his wings, muzzle splitting into a bit of a grin as he looked up at Astor, showing off his fangs. "I saw an ad in the paper." Astor didn't know about any ad, but nodded knowingly anyways. "Ah, yes. Well, Mr..." "Prix." Astor blinked. *pikapika* "Excuse me? Prix?" "Grand Prix." Astor looked at the camera a moment, then back at Prix. "Are you French?" Prix tilted his head curiously, and Astor waved his hand. "Never mind. Well...Prix...what made you want to work for LD4?" He readied a pen over the clipboard to make notes with. Prix leaned back into the slight drape of his wings. "It seemed like the perfect position. I hear there's lots of opportunity to grow in this company." Astor tossed the clipboard over his shoulder. "Ahh. So room to grow is important to you." "Oh, very much so. It's why I'm here. I would like a position were I have many chances to expand, and in many different ways." Astor clapped his heavy clawed hands together and stood up. "Okay, that's good enough for me! Interview's over. You're hired. Well, since you'll be assisting Cox, you should just go see him now. Go right, and all the way down the hall to the double doors." Prix chrrred again and stood up lightly and padded for the door, talons clicking on the tile with each footstep. Astor exited out the opposite door into a different hallway and bumped into Dino and Helvetica. "So, how'd it go?" Astor grinned. "Oh, fine. Now we have Cox, Prix...and a dick working here." He patted Dino's head and chuckled, ignoring the squinting parasaur. He slipped past them to head up the hallway, but stopped after a step, twisting his neck around. "Oh, if anyone shows up named Bubes for Jenn or Revanche, I want to interview them." -Astor (ThunderT0z)
