Probably the most outgoing and headstrong in the group, Taichi eventually evolves into the capable leader of the Digi-Destined, but not without some growing pains and confrontations along the way. Holder of the Crest of Courage, 'Tai' is usually fearless and steadfast in the face of danger, though perhaps a bit too reckless at times, and is wholly committed to the fulfillment of the group's destiny. Because of this, sometimes he overlooks the emotional well-being of his followers, not because he doesn't care, but simply because he is enthusiastic to the point of forgetting all else. Most of the time, however, Taichi does try to be mindful of his responsibilities and he acts as a solid advisor to the team once the younger Digi-Destined take over.
